Using BGP in flexiWAN

Lesson 12: Using BGP in flexiWAN

In this lesson, we will cover the usage and configuration of BGP in flexiWAN. We will discuss how it works, and review deployment scenarios.

Date to be announced shortly

Lesson 13: Reviewing flexiWAN's 6.2.x version with flexiWAN engineering

This webinar is an R&D level overview of flexiWAN’s version 6.2.x. Among other features, it includes a review of VLAN and upgrade to Ubuntu 20.04 TLS.

Speakers of this webinar are Nir Ben Dvora, flexiWAN CTO and Ivor Kreso, head of flexiWAN technical support.

Recorded Training Videos

Lesson 1: An Introduction to flexiWAN & flexiManage

  • flexiWAN Overview
  • A 30,000 feet overview of the flexiManage menu & features
    • Accounts, users, multi tenancy and billing
    • Inventory – Devices, Tunnels, Peers, Path Labels, App IDs
    • Traffic optimization & Firewall – Path selection & Firewall
    • Dashboards
    • Troubleshooting and how it works

Lesson 2: Deploying flexiWAN

In the second lesson of the flexiWAN Academy, we will focus on deploying flexiWAN.

  • Planning for flexiWAN deployment
  • flexiWAN installation options from pre-installed HW to bring your own HW
  • Installing flexiWAN from scratch
  • Device configuration and connecting to flexiManage
  • Connecting multiple sites

Lesson 3: All About flexiWAN Tunnels & Path Labels

In this lesson we are going to explain how easy it is to connect multiple sites with flexiWAN using tunnel architecture and various topologies. We will also explain the concept Path Labels which are used for tunnels and other flexiWAN features.

Lesson 4: Configuring Application Based Routing in flexiWAN

In this lesson you will learn how and when to configure Application Based Routing using Path Selection.

Lesson 5: IPsec Peering with Cloud Services & 3rd Party Routers

Peering with cloud services such as Security Service Edge (SSE) which is the security side of SASE and other cloud services is a common requirement.

Having an open solution that allows you to select your SSE of choice is required by many service providers and enterprises. In this lesson you will learn how to connect flexiWAN to cloud services, among them, SSE.

You will also see how the flexiWAN IPsec peering can allow you to connect to 3rd party routing devices.

Lesson 6: Firewall fundamentals

flexiWAN features a firewall that is native in flexiEdge and managed from flexiManage as part of the flexiWAN policy configuration.

Following a high level overview of security firewall functionality, we will dive into the flexiWAN firewall policies and best practices for configuring and using this capability.

Lesson 7: Troubleshooting tunnels and preventing connectivity issues

Have you ever run into Tunnel issues?

In this lesson, we will show you how to troubleshoot tunnel issues efficiently and present best practices to prevent
them.

Lesson 8: An Intoduction To The Remote Worker Application

The flexiWAN Remote Worker Application marks the first application in the flexiWAN AppStore.

Join Ivor & Amir for an overview of the flexiWAN Remote Worker Application and Client.
The session will start with an overview and demo of the Remote Worker Application.
Then we will dive into the configuration options and details.

Lesson 9: Deploying flexiWAN on public clouds

flexiWAN can be deployed on bare metal, VM or in the cloud. Cloud deployments can be great for production and also for immediate POC or testing purposes when HW is not handy. Join us for this lesson to learn how flexiWAN can be easily deployed in a cloud environment.

Lesson 10: Reviewing flexiWAN's latest features

Taking a closer look at some of the latest features of flexiWAN such as PPPoE as well as features that were included in previous versions such as network healing, Quality Based Routing, and IPsec peering.

Lesson 11: Taking flexiWAN to Production

In this lesson, you will learn how to plan your production deployment using flexiWAN. This lesson will utilize many of the previously covered topics but now apply them in real-life production deployment. Covering planning and deploying advanced flexiWAN environment ready for production utilizing multiple device types, tunnel topologies, peering, Path Labels, Path Selection, Firewall policies, and more.
